Is there anyway to get a hold of a native English speaking person at Windows activation?

Well retard in activation says that I'm using an upgrade version, and since I did a "fresh" install that it will not activate. That I must install Windows 98SE first and then upgrade to XP. I tell him I've done this a dozen times before but he'll hear nothing of it. The techincal support guy starts arguing with the activation person saying he is wrong and then they start jabbering to each other. Can't understand them to begin with, and now they argue. Well the fuxnuts disconnect me again.

So I'm pretty pissed at this point. Is there any one I can call and actually talk to someone I can understand and who can understand me?

I mean they say:

"Give you me your installation ID please"

Me: "It did not generate one, it is blank"

CS: "Yes the number right under there"

Me: "There is no number, nothing, it's blank"

CS: "You number provide me yes?"

Ug.

They've got one last phone call to get it right. Otherwise I will be out more than the $100 and some odd bucks I spent on this thing.

FIXED.. casue Bill Gates and M$ coudl care less if you cant use your product.. they got your 100$ already =)

btw I've never had a problem with them.. always 2 mins and done.

Yeah I had to go through this yesterday. I couldn't understand her, she couldn't understand me. Took about half an hour AFTER I finally made it through to a person. Ridiculous.

They told you what you need to do, install a previous version first.

Dont have to, he is using it properly it prompts you for the original media which verifies that you can install the upgrade, you think that prompt was accidentally coded into it or what
