Is there anyway to automatically forward emails in Outlook 2000?

I have a school email address and we use Outlook 2000 on campus, but I check my Yahoo account more often. Is there anyway, to have Outlook 2000 automatically forward my messages to my Yahoo account or any other email account? Thanks.

Depending on the mail system, forwarding can be set up on the server by yourself or an admin. This would preclude needing to access your mail via Outlook at all.

Assuming you keep an Outlook client up, but check a Yahoo account on a more regular basis (when away from campus, your computer, etc.), you can set up a rule to automatically forward mail after Outlook receives the mail. Tools>Rules Wizard...>New>Check Messages When They Arrive>Next>When received through specified account>click "specified" and select your school email account>next>Forward it to people or distribution list>click "people or..." and select/create a contact that has your yahoo email address>next>Create any exceptions that may be needed>Finish>OK.

🙂 Thanks for the help. I was just getting ready to post back that I found out how to do it. I figure I would mess around with it a little; kinda slow here at work tonight. Anyway, I got it working with the Rules Wizard like you showed. I have tested it out a couple of times and everything seems to work fine. Thanks again.
