Is there anyway to accept credit card payments thru paypal

I would like to accept 2 CC payments thru paypal but I dont want to loose 3% of every transaction with the business account. Is there anyway I can switch, accept payment and switch back? Losing only the % on the 2 CC transactions

Fyi, you are allowed to have one premier account and one personal.

This is what my wife does and it works perfectly.

She has TWO Paypal accounts.

CC - premier/business account

Non cc - personal

🙂

How exactly do you go about doing this?
Sign up twice using different e-mail address?

Use two different e-mail addresses and bank accounts.

My wife's credit union gladly opened a 2nd checking account for her, took about 5 minutes.

Oops I forgot one more piece of information

Can I have a PayPal Personal and a Premier/Business Account?

You also need a separate credit card.

what about the name ont he account though, i had to make up a fake first name just to open a paypal account because the first time i did so it was for one of those "make $ to surf the net" dealies and they wanted me to fax them bank info, and a buncha other crap just to reset the password so i made up a first name.

She used her real name, mailing address, and phone number for both accounts it worked just fine.

I just have a premier acct with my CC hooked up to it, and then my personal with my bank hooked up to it.

So when I get CC's, I accept the xfer using my premier acct, then send the money over to my personal to withdraw to bank. (it's Paypal funds by then, not CC funds). If it's Non-CC to begin with then it goes straight to my personal acct, then to the bank.

CC > Premier > xfer to Personal > Bank
Non-CC > Personal > Bank

Works fine for me.

I have a premier account set up right now for my wife's small business. However if I sell anything to anyone can't I SPECIFICALLY say "NO CC payments"? Don't I only get charged if the buyer uses a CC? If they use bank xfer etc I dont think I get charged.

If you have a premier account you get charged for EVERYTHING. Thats why people don't want to upgrade, and why most people who need to accept credit card payments have a seperate account just for those.

Ok... no biggy to me. The ~2% on stuff I sell personally Im not going to lose sleep over. If I was buying/selling a ton of stuff, maybe. But its pretty few and far between for me.

Thanks
