Is there anyway that i can atach a notebook hd to my computer?

Is there anyway that i can atach a notebook hd to my desktop without buying any extra stuff? I have to back up a hd.

notebook does not have a network card. Is there a cheap usb networking cable i ca buy (30 bucks or so)?

I have one of those cool adapters for hooking it up to a standard IDE cable... but I don't like to share... no really I wish I knew where to get them from I kyped mine from work... I don't know where they get them!

yea the Notebook HD should be a standard IDE connector. However I am not sure about the power connector

I need one of those. Sweet. I gotta do a laptop hard drive upgrade. I can hook up the current laptop drive, ghost it to my spare blank drive in my tower , then ghost it to the replacement laptop hard drive.
