If the company ships to the wrong house... is there anything that you can do?
Or is all I can do is rant about it on the internet

More threads = more $$$.

Anyway, like I said in the other thread, isn't the shipping agent responsible if the package never arrives?

Well according to them, if the package is "delivered," then it's no longer their fault.

Back up to the beginning, you know, where you told us the details of where you bought it from etc. I missed it somewhere in the thread.

I've had this problem twice beforebefore. UPS will claim that their tracking says it was delivered. Thus they claim they did their job and its not their fault.

In my one of cases, the company I ordered from was nice enough to send out my order again. In the other case, my package got shipped to some bank and they sent a someone over to bring me my package. :D

ups entered into a business transaction with the [seller] which told them where to deliver the package.

if ups delivered the package to the address given by the seller, then ups has done its job and is not at fault.

the fault lies directly on the seller unless UPS did deliver to the wrong address when they were given the correct one.

Thats all fine and dandy, but how is the seller supposed know you aren't lying and trying to get another one for free?

Shipping insurance. It doesn't remove all the risk and it does take time to settle a claim, but it is a relatively good safety net. Couple that with signature confirmation, and you're good to go in many cases.
