Is there anything wrong with selling the software that came with my new laptop?

Hello,

I'm a happy owner of a new Dell Inspiron 4150 SE and I'm loving it. But one thing I'm wondering is whether it's ok to sell the software that came bundled with it, that I do not use. I'm talking about things like MS Works 2002 (I have Office), Roxio Easy CD (Use Nero), and possibly even Windows XP Home (I formatted and used my own XP Professional). They're all sealed and such, but is it ok to sell them?

Thanks!

Look very carefully at the license agreements . . . some OEM software can't legally be resold. Others - like MS Works will only install on Dell systems.

ahhh, interesting. How bad would it be if I sold it and it wouldn't even install? ;)

I'll check the documents out. Thanks!
