Is there ANYTHING worth buying at sharper image for $100?

So for a YEAR now I have had a $100 Sharper Image merchandise credit. (I don't think it can be easily used online, only in store, and they won't let me buy a gift card with it, so I can't regift it)

I have probably wandered into their store 7 times now, and as hard as I try, I can't justify buying ANYTHING with the $$$. Everything in there is either complete and total crap, or right on the border of total crap and interesting, but costs $250.

So I'm leaving it to the helpful anandtech crowd.. if you had $100 to spend at sharper image...what would you buy?

Well, of the 128 gifts, about 125 of them seemed to be complete crap... However, amusingly enough they did have some *floormats* online, which at least wouldn't be throwing the money out the window... and it looks like with a little bit of work (and *mailing in* my merchandise credit) I may be able to use it on their website...

They usually have cool 1:18 diecast cars, but like most of their items they are double the price you would pay anywhere else.

I have double reward points for Sharper Image through my Discover Card. I compounded $40+ in 1% cashback so it means $80 to use at Sharper Image. I've had the option to use it for quite a while now... and I still sit idle like yourself. Crap is right. The stuff looks nice, but mostly useless.

It's a shame, SI used to have cool, expensive stuff back in the day. Now they have their own branded junk that they sell for a premium. :disgust:
Anyways, there are a few things that are worthwhile, but unfortunately neither is around $100. The ionic breeze for cars is great, but it's only like $20. Also, I have the 3 piece 2 alarm cd clock radio, which is actually a rebadged Nakamichi Soundspace 3 as far as I can tell. It's about $200. I wouldn't have personally bought it, but it was a great gift, even if the controls are retarded.
