Is there anything special about business workstation graphics cards?

For the sole purpose of running dual displays and nothing graphically intensive, is there any particular reason why ?business? graphics cards are used over regular consumer grade video cards?

For that purpose, no. For CAD purposes, yes.

I think you pay for the graphics drivers.

The hardware is probably the same.

Buying a business class graphics card is sort of like buying a Mac. Essentially, a Mac is the same hardware as a PC. You pay more for a Mac for the OS (additional software features in a business graphics card) and better testing (with business class applications).
