F1 isn't any more exciting. At least with Indycar the winner isn't predetermined by Bernie Ecclestone :p

You clearly haven't been watching this year. There have been 7 different race winners, there is a close points race for the championship between at least 6 different drivers, and the racing has been phenomenal this year.

Can't wait for Spa in a couple weeks.

Those drifting competitions. Looks cool at first but gets old real quick. Can't believe it's still around.

that all depends on the quality of the drivers. when its all seasoned drivers that are good at it, it gets boring watching them all do the same thing. but, throw in a noob every 3rd driver and it becomes a bit more entertaining. the last event i went to had more greenhorns than experienced drivers, so there was lots of wall shots, spin outs, fuck ups and that sort of thing. had a guy spin out 1/3 into it, right in the path of the next driver. which happened to be a tandem run. was almost a big pile up, but those guys were pro. they got out of it pretty well, only clipped each other a bit avoiding the noob. im going to an event tonight to watch a kid i know in a 240sx he hasnt tracked yet. should be fun.

Pretty much any baseball game any day or any night! Had the opportunity to witness a no hitter once, longest evening of my life.

Anything is boring if you don't have something vested into a team or driver. About the only racing that I can watch is if a favorite NASCAR driver is near the front. It's about the only series that's easy to find each Sunday on tv. I don't even recall the last time an F1 race was on tv and the IRL seems very random.

Gee, your enthusiasm makes me just want to go out and find out what all the fuss is about. :sneaky:

I go out of my way to record F1, watch the practice and qualifying but you're like meh... whatever. If it's on and someone I claim is my favorite driver is leading I'll watch it.

NASCAR! If I'm not doing other stuff, I might watch it! Quite the catch phrase. :D

I find almost all racing boring. I would never go out of my way on a Sunday to watch a race. That's a time to be doing other stuff. Like I said, if a favorite driver is leading, I may pay attention, otherwise I really DGAF.

I used to follow CART but after they merged back to Indy Car I lost interest. I never had any interest in IRL and found the oval tracks to be the most boring... and I've been to Fontana to a CART race. I usually go to Long Beach but didn't even go to that this year. It just didn't interest me.

F1 racing has been extremely good this year though. I am especially looking forward to Spa in 2 weeks. I love that track. If I could see one Grand Prix I think that would be the one I would go to.

I like that it's on early too so I can enjoy it in the AM while I'm having my coffee instead of the middle of the day when I'm usually doing other stuff.

My best experience with F1 was watching it in person. Spent a day at Indy watching various classes and then big race. All most threw up after the race because it was so loud at the finish line where we had tickets.
