There's been a few times in BF1942 where I stood back in awe; El Alamein at 1280x1042x32 max everything 16 perf AF and 2x AA. 4 or 5 Panzers/Shermans and Tigers/M10s rolling over dunes with mountains in the backdrop as you approach the allied base is as close to a cinematic gaming experience as I've encountered.Originally posted by: gururu
or possible than UT2K3 with the highest settings with full AF at 1280x1024 running at 40 fps?
i love video games.

forgotten battles at 1280 32 bit with 16x af and 4x aa with perfect settings. It truly is a suspension of reality when flying into the caucauses at 4000 feet with snow on the peaks and waves in the rivers!

Hmm, personally think it looks and runs better on my XBox, and I've got everything maxed at 1280x32 with 8x quality AF, 2x AA.Originally posted by: ZimZum

To me, virtually any game looks better on a PC, and this is no exception. One difference I can tell u right now-Try sitting as far from ur TV as from ur monitor, and tell me the TV looks better. I run it at 1024x768x32 max settings and to me it STILL looks better.

Splinter Cell, repetitive? WOW. The main reason I got it is because it's like a modern Thief, which had NOT been done up till now. Hitman 2 tried, and I loved it, but it didn't do it quite as well. Plus Splinter Cell adds a whole "secret-agent" aspect to it. I love it, you must have played it for all of a few minutes to come to your conclusion.
