is there anything interesting to do in minnesota?

I grew up there and while its a darn nice state the best tourist attraction is the Mall of America, and that isnt saying much.

If you are into camping, hunting, or indian casinos, then you are golden.

If you are near it you can easily spend a full day at mall of america, especially if they still have that aquarium they had last time I was there about 10 years ago and they have a movie theater also.

Hard to find a better place for fishing and camping. If you like the arts, it'd be hard to find a better place than Mpls/St. Paul. If you like good food, the same. If you like clubs/bars, there's one on every corner. It's a great place to visit.

Yeah, forget about the symphony, Walker Art Center, Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis Institute of Art and a different festival every weekend. The Mall is the place to hang. D:

I been to the Guthrie for Macbeth. It was nice but not worth making a trip for as a tourist. If the OP is correct I doubt he'll have time to wait for a good show and get tickets. The Walker Art Center isnt worth a special trip either. For someone passing through I recommend the Mall of America just so they can say they saw it.

Know how I know you and shorty are in HS?

I'm not but I did live there for a few years, walking distance from downtown Minneapolis and I don't care for those places although I did go to here one time:

I did spend a lot of time going to the mall though mainly for the Wizards of the Coast store they had when I was playing 40k and the arcades they had.

But I have no interest in the music places you listed and that art place had a nice inside area that was warm with a bunch of plants that was nice to be inside when it was cold out.

Wrong on all counts but, I guess some of us have higher standards.

Just go and watch the grass grow. That's about the limit for you anyway...anything more and your brain would ass-plode.

theres just so much in this thread, we truly have a dynamic forum

im thinking maybe driving a scenic byway, driving through minneapolis (maybe do 1 or 2 things there), then possibly go to the MoA just to make shorty shut up

Please stay in your basement. It's really annoying to have to explain RL to 'youts' on the intarweb.

You have to remember that this is for the most part a tech forum and not a artsy forum thus most straight guys here would prefer stuff at the mall or such compared to going to a play like you seem to like.

You can enjoy that while we have fun but I was sad to look and see that the downtown gameworks had closed. 🙁
