Is there anything I should do about getting emails that aren't for me?

I was one of the first people to sign up for a hotmail account when it started 5 or 6 years ago. I used the standard first letter of first name followed by your last name.

Well, lately, I have been getting TONS of things that aren't for me. These things include passwords and logins for some other "jdunne's" online investment porfolio, I get passwords for various technical online resources, as well as personal emails from some persons friends and family.

I try to email individuals back if I can letting them know that this isn't their brother/sister/uncle/friend ect. Should I reply to emails that contain sensitive material such as passwords and logins?

Anymore, probably 3 out of 10 emails are for some other "jdunne".

Should I even worry about it?

usually i e-mail them back and go "um i think you have the wrong address" or alert the company.

helps if they're trying to ward off fake accounts and so on.
