Ugh this is the most annoying thing ever since you never know when it'll just creep up and BANG. It's like someone taking a gun and just shooting it past my ear..

And if anyone says, "answer it" I will take a gun and shoot it through their ear...

So, any help would be appeciated :)

stop ringing that bell next to your ear.

actually i believe its a fracture of a small bone inside your ear that makes it do that.

I don't have a bell and I haven't taken aspirin or ibuprofeennene in forever.

And tinnitutsus I've never heard of before.

I notice my left ear tends to ring sometimes after playing basketball...strange.

Sometimes it the ringing sensation doesn't have anything to do with hearing loss, but you can nver be too sure. Go get a hearing test, though. I have quite a lot of hearing loss (mostly from birth), and it's not all that great.

But try turning down the tv or the music...

I think I've got tinnitus as well. Can only hear it while lying in bed at night though, and I've had it for ages, so it's pretty much the norm.

LOL, you made the joke before I could even think of it... it makes it even more funny! :D

just my opinion...

anyway, whenever my ear rings, I just goto some place noisy and it'll automatically drown out the ringing.

I generally seem to get it when I am running short on sleep. The nasty part is it is a vicious cycle in that it tends to accentuate periods of insomnia I sometimes get ie the ringing annoys me stopping me from sleeping which causes ringing...

If this is already happening to you that is a bummer. I have talked to people who had that problem and it gets really, really annoying. As far as I know there is still no real cure for it either. :-(

Oh yeah, when I get intoxicated, it's especially bad. It actually feels a little comforting being able to hear something while severly inebriated! Ah well, whatever...
