Is there anything else to buy besides an accord?

I mean seriously, there doesn't seem to be anything else in this price range that offers a well rounded package at this price. I'm thinking mainly 4 cylinder, but either stick/auto, coupe/sedan.

I glanced at RSXs, but even the base RSX is as much as an accord. Same for celica. Civics/Corollas aren't really substantially cheaper when you match features, they're slower, not built as well and smaller. Camry doesn't test out as fast and resale generally not as good.

The only thing that's sucky about accords is that in another year or so, everyone and their grandmothers will have this generation/design.

Camry resell just as good as accord if not better since couple years ago. Camry is already ahead of accord now IMHO.

Can't, that actually ends up being ~4K more than an I4 accord. I don't want to spend over 20k.

guys, wrx's and honda accords are on totally different levels.

4cyl accords are nice roomy point A to point B cars with a tiny bit of luxury. they're nice cars and very reliable.

test drive the car (and other cars your considering), and if you like it, buy it, and dont worry about what everyone and their grandmother are driving.

just mho

unless of course u are looking at compact cars too.

Mazda 6

or a Accord is the best bet I think.

Personally I'd get the Mazda 6. If it were down to those 2 choices.

you might be able to pick up a demo wrx for like 20k

How about a Nissan Ultima ... they can be had for undrer 20Gs.
Though this isn't quite as "nice" Grand Prix's are in that price range, and they pack a punch.
Or if you don't mind getting a used car, Chrysler 300Ms are Very nice, decently fast, and extremely rooomy. and it's a Chrysler! :Q .. you would probably have to get a 2000 or 2001 to find one with lom wilage in mint condition for under 20K.
