Is there anything better than Excel for tracking bank accounts, budgets, etc?

I'm not sure what else to look into. I like Excel for this since it is so customizable to do exactly what I want.

Have you tried one of the accounting programs: Quicken, MS Money, etc...?

I have been using Excel for years and never have found a reason to switch.

I've been using MS Money since 98 or 99. Works great for what I need, which is to keep track of my Bank Account, Savings Account and credit cards. I can even download my statements and directly import them into Money. Saves a lot of time typing.

I've tried older versions of both of those briefly. I guess I like how I can customize spreadsheets in Excel, but would like something that has a calendar view(similar to outlook's) that will show you bills, deposits, withdrawls, etc on a calendar.

Can I get trial versions of the newest money management software? I'm not going to go spend $50-75 on it and then not be satisfied with it.
