Is there anyone with info on the Abit AN7?

I'm in the process of building a new system. I'm about to get a Asus A7N8X Deluxe for my motherboard. But a friend of mine said to look at Abit motherboards, especially the NF7-S. I went to the Abit website and noticed a new nforce2 motherboard. It seems like it is every bit as good a the Asus board I'm about to buy, but it is "new" and cheaper in price. If it is a better of easier board to work with than I want to know. Thanks
