Is there anybody who is into Digital home cinema?

I now wanna know about digital sound, but this doesn't seem to be a toppic in this forum, tell me if I am wrong.

Here basically is what I wanna do.---

I wanna setup my computer more central, meaning that it needs to find more use. So I decided to integrate it into the livingroom. Now for that I first wanna get rid of my 25 year old sound system, and get a new setup.

That is where I need more help. I certainly dislike those computer suround speakers, which are pretty bad when it comes to larger rooms. I know about speakers, that is easy, but what I don't know is everything about amplifires. So is there anybody having a 'livingroom suround setup'???

This is what I mean, a set of 5 speakers plus one subwoofer.

Anybody having something like this any audio freak?

The use is for DVD, TV, music, etc.

The soundcard that I am using is a Turtle beach...

This should do the job, and the perfect would be a 6.1 amp... Thanx, anybody??? any other forum talking about sound and stuff....

i have an entire 5.1 surround system integrated with my computer, so i'm open to helping you with whatever. but i'm confused as to what you'd like to know. so just fire away some specific questions here
