soundcard that has reliable XP drivers? I have a Live! X-Gamer card installed on my new Epox 8k7a+. As many of you know, having a Live in XP sucks royally. I get sound just fine. It's just not perfect. Every so often, my sound decides to stutter/skip/crack/pop. I like to be able to hear whatever I want without any problems. Is there a card that supports 4.1 channels that actually has working XP drivers?
BTW, here's the hardware setup:
PCI slot 1 - Empty
PCI slot 2 - Creative Dxr3
PCI slot 3 - Empty
PCI slot 4 - Live card
PCI slot 5 - Empty
PCI slot 6 - 3Com NIC
4 HDDs are attached to the extra IDEs reserved for RAID, but I'm not using RAID. DVD & CDRW occupy masters on regular IDEs.
