is there any way you can split a picture across, say 4 pieces of paper to make it super big?

yes, just open up photoshop, cut it in four bits, print out each bit, cut the edges of each bit and... hang it on your wall and f*p f*p f*p or whatever

My HP1000 does this. It's called poster printing.

I would think you could do it like Czar said too.

Wouldn't the fact that there are boarders on the paper result in white areas?

Buy a publishing software like Adobe Pagemaker...make the page dimensions that size, place the pic, and print...Pagemaker will do it for you :)

LView Poster will do what you describe.

The "Evaluation Version" can be downloaded for free. This version limits output to 2 x 2 pages, while the full version is capable of producing much larger posters. Since you say you want to use 4 pieces of paper, the demo should meet your needs precisely.
