Is there any way to test a PC to see if dual channel RAM is working or not?

My system has four slots, and I have 3GB of total ddr2 ram, two 1 gigs, and two 512mb's.

and I'm thinking of doing this:

slot one: 1GB
slot 2: 512MB
slot 3, 1GB
slot 4: 512mb

I've been told by some that this setup *should* run in dual channel, but I'm looking for a way to TEST this hypothesis. Is there any way to confirm the dual channel performance? If I'm only getting single channel, I will probably sell the 512MB sticks on Ebay, then buy another couple 1-gig sticks when Unreal 2007 comes out. hohoho ;)

Any advice appreciated.

Run Memtest 86+ or CPU-Z either should tell you if your runing in dual channel or not.
