Is there any way to tell what web pages someone has been looking at on my computer?

Even if they go to tools, internet options, and delete all of the files and clear the history?
Is there anything else in Windows that monitors what has been browsed?
So say if I go to some web pages and then delete files and clear history, is all traces of those web pages gone forever?

It is very tough to do it manually. There are numerous directories in the Windows directory where the history, cookies are kept. Some of the history is also kept in the registry.

How do I access the history in the registry?
Is there an article or something that gives directions for covering up tracks?

You could set IE to use 0mb of space for temp internet files. Then set it to keep 0 days inside it's history.

Try searching for *.jpg, *.gif, etc. under the Start/Find/Files menu and deleting any offending parties. That should help some.

Open windows explorer scroll down to the Windows folder expand it. Scroll down to temporary internet foders expand it. Expand content.IE5. In this folder there are a number of folders which start with things like 44w9u3er open these folders and you'll see txt documents that look like this bob@usatoday.com. The first part tells you who visited the site assuming you have a user account created for each person that uses your machine. The last part of text is the address that has been visited if you right click and choose properties you can see the time and date the site was visited.
