Is there any way to run more than one instance of a program that otherwise restricts it?

There's a program that I'm trying to run more than one instanec of at a given time, but when I try to run the second instance it shows the loading screen, then it closes. I'm assuming that the company that produced it intended for it to be this way, but I was wondering if there's any way around it? I've tried having two separate copies of it to no avail, and I also tried to run it on two separate users on windows XP with no luck.

Is there any way around it?

Any feedback is appreciated! :)

You could run multiple instances on multiple virtual machines using vmware.

Call the support line for the software?

If they took the extra time required to do that there's probably a reason for it, if you have a valid support contract contact them and find out what it is and what they suggest you do to work around it.
