I just built my very first system.
Epox 8KHA, 768 megs of crucial pc2100, 40 gig IBM 60GXP, 1ghz thunderbird, you get the idea. That's not important.
When I first had my vid card, ram, and proc in the mobo, and the motherboard mounted in the case, I tried turning the computer on. Everything hummed to life beautifully. Except my heatsink fan.
I tried the fan in another fan header, but got the same response. The fan twitched a little, but never started spinning. I guess this is what I get for buying a retail thunderbird.
Does anyone know of any obvious things that I might be able to do to fix the fan? I don't wanna have to wait a few days just to buy a new stinking fan for my heatsink...
