Is there any way to restore a lost partition map?

My roommate appears to have lost the partition map on his sytem, due to a little tweakign he was doing in win2k's disk manager. None of his 3 OSes (win2k, BeOS, and QNX) will boot, and when we load up the partiton magic emergency disks; PM just says that the entire drive is unallocated.

The bootloaders all still work *somewhat*. All 3 OSes start to boot, but then fail because they can't locate the partition with all their files.

Does anyone know of any way to restore the partition map? I know that a data retreival firm might possibly be able to do it, but that is a little out of everyones' budgets.
