I was wondering if there is any way in windows or an extra program you can use to make the quick launch icons larger? I want to run my taskbar at twice its normal heighth, and would prefer that the icons use the entire heigth of the taskbar. For example, so it looks more MAC like. Any idea?

Pull open the QL part enough that you can right-click in some empty space on it. On the menu that appears, choose View > Large Icons. Is that big enough?

What I like, myself, is to stretch the Taskbar big enough to have a Large Icons row under a row of regular window buttons. Assuming enough screen space, that is. 🙂

Not exactly the size I wanted, but its okay. I can live with it, thanks I didn't know it was that easy.

What do you mean regular windows buttons, you mean of the programs you have open? Got a screenshot so i can see what your talking about

They ought to scale proportionately with your desktop icons, so you could alter that... I have a Cheetah icon for My Computer usually 🙂 and a certain icon size makes it come out "right."

I'll put one up tomorrow (I keep my WinXP box down at work) but you have the right idea, yeah. I could have a full-width row of big QL icons, plus a full-width row of program buttons on top of them. I do give up a bit of screen space but it works for me.
