Is there any way to limit the data of the connecting devices?

There are five devices connect to the home wireless at the same time. But I want one of them to be the fastest. Is there anyway to limit the data of other three devices? Someone recommend me a software which is spam . Does it work? Anybody use this software?

Spam lets you turn a device with an internet connection and an extra wireless adapter into a wifi router for other nearby devices. When it works (which isn't guaranteed) it's an OK temporary replacement for a regular wireless router. But it won't do what you are asking.

If your router supports it, you can set the one device port to a higher priority, but most home/consumer routers don't have the ability to set restrictions for individual devices.

QoS is available on some routers, which is what you need.
There are some older routers that can be flashed with new firmware that enables this feature. Check out Tomato or DD-wrt to see if your current router is on the supported list or not.

Free router OS like dd-wrt/openwrt can shape the network traffic and also put hard limits on certain devices that you choose. But setting it up is difficult if you are not tech savvy.
There are windows utilities that can limit traffic on the computer but obviously it only works if the user doesn't have admin rights otherwise they will just disable it.
