Is there any way to get the most of my upload speed without the impossible uncapping?

I know there is no way to increase your upload speed without literally uncapping it at your cable company, but I am supposed to have a 128k/b sec upload, yet the most I have ever gotten is 42. I know there must be some way of getting a better upload speed on my cable connection. Is there a genius out there that can tell me how??

Thanks,
Joe

You say the most you have gotten is 42?
You mean 42KBytes per second? That is very good! :)
I think that is approximatly 330KBit per second U/L speed.

Remember a few things......
KiloBIT is NOT the same as KiloBYTE
MegaBIT is NOT the same as MegaBYTE

Now, when you said 42, did you mean you get 42Kbit/second? :)
That I would think is only about 5-6KB / second. That sucks :) That is AnalogModem speeds! Hence the connection speeds of like 28800 56000 etc.

Someone I suppose correct me if I am wrong.

Otherwise, be happy with what you are getting on your upload. I am a TRUE 128KB cap and it sucks :)
