Is there any way to get rid of the "console v console" thread plague?

There will probably be little moderation of these threads because they come and go as quickly as they start. Eventually members will learn what the search function is and we(the community) will not run into this problem.

probably not until sometime after that happens.😉

As much as we'd all like to see that, that'll never happen. We'd also have to get rid of the Democrat vs Republican, Intel vs AMD, import vs American, Babe #1 vs Babe #2, etc. until the forums are so moderated nothing is allowed anymore.

I'd settle for getting rid of the incessant "PICS???!!!!" everytime the female gender is mentioned.

I'll agree to that... Also, automatic lock on any thread that has more than one console name its title...

For example:

"My XBOX is better than my friend's PS2" <--Lock
"Should I buy a Gamecube or a Dreamcast" <-- Lock
Well, you get the idea. I bet that would take care of 90% of those stupid threads
