Is there any way to get around T&L requirements...

Okay, so I got a new cheap laptop with the powerful(for a cheap laptop) Intel GMA 900 chipset and a 1.5ghz processor. Now I'm very much aware of the laptop's limitations and issues, most notably that it lacks hardware Transform&Lighting. For most games that require T&L, the CPU compensates for that, so I can even play Prince of Persia: Warrior Within without many issues. BUT! The problem is that some games specifically check for hardware T&L, and fail to run if such hardware isn't found. This is highly annoying when older games that should technically work can't be played. Of course I'm talking about a specific game here, and it's the prequel to Warrior Within, PoP: the Sands of Time. When I try to run the game it just shows an error message stating the lack of T&L. So now I wonder... is there any way to cheat games into believing that I have T&L? The game should run perfectly fine if it just loads...
Any solution would be appreciated.
