Is there any way to "browse" Netflix's catalog without being a subscriber?

I'm trying to figure out whether I want to go back to Netflix or go with Amazon, but I'd like to know what TV shows Netflix carries these days compared to Amazon.

Amazon lets you browse, but all I get from Netflix is a signup page if you're not a subscriber.

If you mean streaming, there are whole websites devoted to it. Search for Netflix trackers. Even as a subscriber, good stuff will go under your radar, just using Netflix' website.

I must say, Netflix has the WORST browsing UI! Be it on a phone, tablet, PC, Apple TV, etc. It's just terrible.
