Is there any way at all to get a Promise Ultra 100 TX2 to recognise a CD-ROM in DOS?

The title says all... why wouldn't this controller have support for ATAPI devices under DOS? Is there any hack or anything that can be done to get support?

You shouldn't connect CDROMs to a HD controller card...

the card probly only supports IDE, not ATAPI. check with tha manufacturer.

Edit: ok, i just re-read your post... does the CD-Rom work in windows and not in dos?

if so, doyou see the cards bios b4 it boots to dos?
