Is there any tricks to moving a iTunes music folder?

I am helping someone reinstall Windows XP and I noticed that they had a iTunes folder filled with about 500 songs. Can I just move all the music files over to the other partition on the same drive? Is there anything different or mysterious about moving the files or can I just treat them the same as a ordinary mp3 file.

save / copy over all of the music to the folder that you want. Then go into the settings (Advanced -> Change), and you can set the folder where all of the music is at.
