I'd like to find some software that I can use to burn-in a system. Like when you build a new system, be able to stress-test it through software. It'd be nice to have a software package that you can run on your system for 3 days or so before putting it into "production" use. Anyone familiar with a package like that?

get a boot cd and boot from it, no OS required...google "ultimate boot cd" or "hiren's boot cd". one of them should have prime95 on it, to push your cpu, balls to the wall for a few days, or until you are satisfied. install linux, and enjoy!
