Is there any software that will let me use my digital camera as a webcam?

Can this be done, using a video-capable camera as a webcam. Any software for this?

Yes, dont know how but I know it can be done because I know people who have done it.

Upon further reading, the x50 is specifically designed for it, but the x31 doesn't have the option under "transfer mode". Maybe there is still some type of general driver?
