Is there any software that allows you to draw on your desktop using your mouse?

I never understood why they let you rate widgets, but not sort the widgets on ratings. Who cares about when it was submitted?

Is there any site out there that keeps data or rates the most popular widgets?

This is a big reason I haven't used konfabulator/yahoo widgets yet. That, plus the memory drain.

How much memory does the thing really use?

Mem wise, for what I've got running, Mini Calendar and Weather, combined it totals just under 20 MB for me, the largest portion is the main widget engine, which clocks in aroudn 10-15MB

Edit: Also running on 1GB of RAM, so I'm not too worried about mem usage.

I only have 768MB of RAM, but I have to kill Konfabulator before I run WoW, or else it runs chappy as hell. I'm not sure that's memory related, or processor related.
