Is there any service that offers remote Windows terminals?

I'm occasionally using a UNIX text terminal (freeshell.org) when I want to test browsing/mail from abroad. The only problem is that it's a text terminal, which means the browser choice is very limited.

What I'd like find is a similar service that offers Windows terminals with a graphic user interface. Remote Desktop would be good. I don't mind paying for such as a service, if the price is reasonable.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

There are many uses, here are two that are quite typical:

1. Testing connection speed to a site I frequent (such as my mail provider - fastmail.fm). This allows me to isolate speed issues. If it's slow from both ends of the ocean, then the slowness is probably due to my mail provider and not my ISP.
2. Bypassing my workplace firewall without risking my workplace network. If a site or a service uses a port that my workplace blocks, I can safely use the remote desktop without any risk of getting crapware into my workplace network.

Well, I'd be happy to have access to one such datacenter. Are you familiar with a free/paid service that offers this?
