etrade has $19.99 fee for transactions, Ameritrade has $9.99

Faster by how much?

Enough to warrant double the cost on those transactions and anual IRA fee's of $25?

I'd say no. Firstly, the 2 second guarantee only applies to people who make certain number of trades. Secondly, it only applies to blue chip stocks. Otherwise, I'd say go with ameritrade.

<--- Happy ameritrade customer.

Just took my own advice, am swapping over to Ameritrade today.

Had to check with them about the cloverdale educational accounts, they said they have them but have to sanil mail the apps to me, & since I'm transferring my brokerage acct, will have to snail mail that too...

I used them for a while, but had some problems 1 year getting my tax records form them, had to file 2 extensions & actually physically threaten a branch manager to get them:|
