Is there any reason to spend more $ for a Duron700 over a Duron600?

I plan to overclock which ever chip I get but it looks like people are overclocking Duron600's to the same speeds as 700's (the 900MHz range). Am I getting anything of value by spending the extra $30 for the higher speed rating?

My own experience: Last month I bought a Duron 600 for $57. The top speed I could overclock it to was 900MHz. Today I sold that CPU for $50 and bought a Duron 700 for $71. It's running right now at 1GHz.

According to that article about duron overclocking, it has more to do with the week of the chip, look for a week 36 or beyond to reach a gig.

Not the case with my week41 Duron700. I can only to get it stable at 880Mhz (8*110) anything above 900Mhz (using 1.850V) would give me a black screen at POST.
