Is there any reason to password protect Admin account with wired network?

Just wondering. I prefer my home system to auto-boot without login. I have a plain-old cabled network. Any good reason to assign a password to the administrator account?

It would be good to have a password in case of a share-hopping worm trying out your ADMIN$ and C$ shares.
