Is there any reason to not check your credit online?

It's ok, as long as it's not thru a site that harvests information. BTW, they all harvest information. 😉

BTW, I'm sitting in front of my credit bureau machine at work. Gimme your info and I'll come back and post it here, so you can see it. 😛

make sure you get it ONLY from https://www.annualcreditreport.com/. Also, make sure you visit www.creditboards.com and learn how to opt out. It will save your credit score lots-

There are plenty of legitimate sites to get your credit report from, that is simply the way to get your annual free report. In fact, if you use that site it will refer you to the websites of each of the big 3 bureaus to complete the process.

If you're anal about your credit a once a year pull isn't going to be anywhere near enough for you, services like truecredit.com are quite handy.

As a side bonus you can use such services to manipulate the system(s) of the CRA's.
