Is there any reason that the CuteMX website should freeze up my computer?

I've been having this problem ever since I installed it... I can't visit it through IE (locks it up), and CuteMX (that new web pane thing) won't start up. I've tried disabling all Java/Active Content in IE, but got the same result. Is this happening to anyone else, or does anyone have a thought as to what might be causing the problem?
