Is there any reason I shouldn't click submit?

You should click submit, but make sure the shipping address is mine. 😀 😉

But then I'd have to pay sales tax 🙁

I wonder if/how much shipping for Apple Educational is?

I'm sure we could front the sales tax. 😉

M u s t r e s i s t or should I upgrade to the 14.1 iBook?
Well, if you're 7' 5", then get the small screen, and if you are 2' 8", get the big screen.

LOL and what if I'm 6'?

Don't worry folks I won't be buying tonight, first I have to check out the 12" and 14.1" iBooks in person and Panther.

The 12" screen looks nicer than the 14" screen, IMO. Stick with the 12".

However, there's still 1 reason you shouldn't submit: You forgot to add an airport extreme card.

Yep, add it. For me, it was obvious. My whole university has wireless internet.. 😀

/me as I type from that same iBook.

You shouldn't click it if you don't plan on selling me one of your current laptops...😀

BTW What's your going price on those LCD's? (Pending you have any left 😕 )

🙂

Why not get a cheap non-Mac notebook (with double the specs for half the cash) and put FreeBSD on it? OSX is just a BSD clone anyway, so why would you want to pay more than you have to? Have you lost your touch?

If OS X was just a BSD clone it wouldn't run MS Office or Photoshop or SimCity, etc., nor would it be nearly as easy to use.
