i worked with a company that was trying to produce something to create myspace "games" but wasnt able to cause all user info is stored in session variables on the server and cannot be retrieved through javascript means - thus unless you find a compnay in league with mysapce a tracker isnt possilbe as far as we were concerned.

i know nothin about programming so i cant immagine a way to be able to track people unless they have some kind of access to myspace servers, since clicking on a link dosent leave any information behind for a 3rd party to access rite?

unless you want to figure out an algorithm to track the token id that they produce whenever you visit a users page (in the url) i dont see how any 3rd party could track you back

My roommate claims he is able to.. he is very computer savvy though. I'll ask him later.

I developed one. Send me your username and password and I'll give you some code to put in your profile to see who has viewed you. pm me for details...

Nope.
I actually got emailed a list of over 10,000 myspace username/passwords the other day by someone... Guess how they got them?

my friend had an idea, not that helpful but.. hosting some kind of immage on your on server and then putting it in your profile, that will give you everyones IP adress, but that dosent help track usernames.

The only way I can think of is if you own a webserver, host a picture and put that picture on your profile. Everytime someone loads the picture your webserver would record their IP address. That's pretty much it, I don't think you would want to go through the effort of tracking down what IP belongs to what person and then finding out their profile that way, if that's even possible.
