is there any quick fix for an oil leak

I have a very old car that I use to transfer gardening stuff it's about 20 years old a 92 prelude. It runs fine but leaks oil which isn't great for the driveway and it smells if it drips onto the hot cat converter. I'd like something that somewhat slows or stops the leak. Is Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer any good for this? Thanks

Supposed to recondition the seals and get a tighter fit to reduce leaks. Won't fix cracks in seals, but if the rubber is just aged and not making a good seal, this is supposed to help.

Note, I do not endorse this product myself, but this guy, although a little goofy, seems to know his stuff. Might be worth a shot on your Prelude.

No "leak stop" additives are ever long-term good for an engine. The only thing that is ultimately acceptable for fixing leaks is to actually replace whatever gasket is leaking.

Yeah, what's leaking? Maybe it's not a big deal to fix it?

It depends where it is leaking from. Is is the oil pan, oil filter, valve cover, or someplace else? Yes, going to a thicker viscosity oil or Oil Treatment can slow down and/or even stop the oil leak, but it can also ruin your engine in the winter. Not really much to worry about in the summer. Again, tell us where it is leak.

To help determine where the oil leak is coming from, place a clean piece of cardboard under the vehicle at night and this will usually help with general location. Obviously, some oil leaks can run down the frame or suspension and make it appear to be coming from some other area.

might be simple like the pressure sensor u just replace it. get under there and wipe all the oil down then wait a while or drive it and see where the oil is coming from
