It is probably a coincidence that i watched two movies almost back to back where robert de niro's love interest happens to be a black women.

then on SNL, it was eluded in a sketch when he plays Thomas Jefferson. (funny sketch too)

So, how did this rumor get started? Is there any truth to it?
