Is there any movies where someone breaks into a computer system using WIFI?

Need an example from a movie where someone hacks into a system via WIFI. I am giving a presentation on WIFI security and I would like to show a movie as an example.

Thanks 🙂

Ummm, Can't say I've seen one. I don't think you really could hack into a system using WIFI, because rarely does any large scale system operate using WIFI. Good Luck!

the italian job. remember the kid was sitting at the airport terminal and using the wifi from the airport to control the traffic light? there you go.

That was freaky man, downloading wpa drivers for my card right now.

lol.. glad to hear it.. Problem is your neighbor doesn't..

so basically what happened is they captured only 11k of packets and cracked the key?

That key only has 40 bits of which 16 bits are 0... I bet that a well-chosen 128-bit WEP key would fare much better.

Would they go through all that to crack it for home user though?

I've seen guys sitting outside but they definitely weren't trying to break into the network (if ya know what I mean 😉).
