Is there any list of non memory leak programs on the net?

Its all in the title. The reason why I ask this is because when you leave your computer idle for a while/long time and get back to work it suddenly becomes sluggish. This is because of memory leaks right? Hence the question.

Thanks

not always....and no. THe problem is a leak can be harder to trace back, and can be fixed/broken in a small patch. The best bet is to identify specific processes on your system, and see if they climb in usage all the time. firefox had one for a while, Intel Proset (wireless) had one, etc. The sluggishness could be turning your drives back on, swapping stuff in and out of memory, or other things. For the most part the 'reboot every day to keep your PC running well" went away during the 2k/XP years (thank goodness).
