Is there any known solution/cause to screen corruption in Vista?

ASRock 4Core Dual VSTA
E4400
2GB PC3200 DDR
6800 Ultra AGP

(I have only tried the latest WHQL Vista nvidia drivers and gave up hope trying to fix the corruption after reading both threads)

It seems there is a serious problem between the VIA PT880 chipset and AGP Nvidia cards

Windows Xp is rock solid however

AGP/DDR400, two slots.

Intel chipset--that will solve the Via chipset issue.

If your time is worth minimum wage--think Kevin Federline--the $50 is a good investment. (Have you spent five hours downloading and installing software trying to get it to function?)

Also, if you go insane trying to get the Via chipset to work, medication and hospitalization are very expensive.
