Is there any interest in MP3-CDR trading?

For all the 56K or less users out there, downloading MP3s is a little bit laborious, to say the least. Is anyone out there interested in some sort of organized trading of MP3s burnt onto CDRs?

For example, maybe a web site that people upload their MP3 titles , as well as what kind of music they are looking for and contact info.

Also, there is a web ring for this type of thing, but I found that a lot of the links are dead.

Any interest?

You do know you were warned for this just a couple days ago? (FS Forum Thread) The rules apply to all Anand forums. Please look elsewhere for your distribution of illegal software/media needs.

It could be because because trading MP3's is illegal.

The rules and regulations forbid personal attacks, however they don't forbid what I have done- that being starting a thread to find out opinions on a subject. There are numerous threads here about Napster, none of which were locked.

I will not start another thread on this subject.

Good day.

Uh...considering that a cdrs are much cheaper; a lot of people...

for argument sake a: 30gb hd at $100

30gb of room= ~46 650mb cdr

average price of cdr ~.5$

30gb space on cdr= 23$
30gb space on hd=$100

hmm..

anyways, i don't know actual prices, but I doubt that there are any hd for 0.5$ per 650mbs
