Is there any imaging programs that dont boot to dos?

Why do programs like Drive Image and Ghost have to boot to dos first? My burner acts up when it burns in dos. DOH!

disk image programs need to have exclusive access to the disk to function properly.. this is why they need to be run from DOS as windows will get in the way of this.

Well, don't burn in DOS! Create the image files on your HDD . . . then reboot to Windows and burn them normally.

Check the hardware compatibility list for the imaging software you are using. Also check for firmware updates for your burner.
